Steven Adler's Guns N' Roses Drum Kit From 1988 Is For Sale

Classless Act In Concert - West Hollywood, CA

A drum kit that was used by Steven Adler during Guns N' Roses' rise to power in the late-'80s has surfaced on eBay for $125,000.

As we've learned with recent auctions of memorabilia from Nirvana, Allman Brothers Band and Pink Floyd, artifacts of rock and roll history don't often come cheap.

The seller notes that it's "ultra rare to find any gear from Guns and Roses from 'in the day."

The description adds that Adler sold the Tama kit in 1991, presumably shortly after her was fired from the band. The drum heads are original and the hi-hat and crash cymbals are the same ones Adler used, the listing states.

Adler's snare drum is not listed with the kit. Neither is his ride cymbal or any of the other metal he used during his GNR tenure.

Considering what Kurt Cobain's used pizza plate recently sold for — or the price tags of Duane Allman's "Layla" guitar or David Gilmour's Black Strat — this incomplete drum set used during Appetite for Destruction-era GNR is probably a bargain to the right buyer.
