TV Station Apologizes For Running ‘P.F. Chang’ Graphic With Olympics Story

A TV station in Chicago had to apologize after they inadvertently aired an Olympics graphic that said "P.F. Chang 2018," instead of Pyeongchang, the host city of the 2018 Winter Olympics.

According to Fox News, the graphic was used during an Olympic update on ABC affiliate WLS in Chicago on Saturday. Weekend anchor Mark Rivera read some of the top stories from the opening weekend of the Winter Games with the incorrect graphic sitting to the right of his head.

The station issued a statement apologizing for the mix-up. They said the graphic that was erroneously used during the sports update was created for a satirical piece that aired last Friday.

P.F. Chang's thought it was funny, and sent a tweet reminding people "Contrary to this broadcast, we’re not hosting the games."
